Duluth, Minnesota (February 27, 2015) – One of the leading dance studios in Duluth, MN, Superior Ballroom Dance, is pleased to announced that it has recently won The Snow Ball Dancesport Competition’s Top Studio Award. The contest is part of the national circuit and was held earlier this year on January 10 to 11 at Minneapolis. Aside from receiving the trophy for the Top Studio Award, Superior Ball Room Dance also won three Top Teacher awards, a number of Top Student awards, and many student medals.
Now on its 11th year, The Snow Ball is an annual North American event where many competitors, including Superior Ballroom Dance Studio, regularly compete. Despite being only in the business for two years, the studio has won one of the most coveted awards of the competition: the Top Studio trophy. Bringing in more than 20 students and 6 teachers to the competition, Superior Ballroom Dance Studio beat out at least fifty other studios as well as hundreds of other students and instructors from all over the country.
In 2012 the studio also had the honor of having the only professional couple in Andrea Kuzel and Darren Franco competing on the national circuit. The dance studio in Duluth offers private dance lessons, practice parties, group classes, and professional performances in ballroom and Latin dance. Owner Andrea Kuzel has at least ten years of competing in the national level—and, together with her partner, Darren Franco, has been teaching people ballroom dancing In Duluth since 2012. As of 2015 we now have 3 professional couples for a total of 6 teachers.
