The renowned Superior Ballroom Dance studio now offers master group dance classes in Duluth, MN. Alongside our beginner, intermediate, and bronze group classes, we hold our master classes at least twice a month. Master group sessions are for both beginner and pro level dancers who wish to learn from the best in the industry. We bring in world-class dancers and experts to teach these classes at our studio in Duluth.

Our master dance classes are usually held at 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM. Each class is taught by a different instructor. Right now, these one-of-a-kind sessions are being taught by two dancers who are widely acknowledged as among the best in their respective fields: Dan Messenger and Mariusz Olszewski.

Dan Messenger has been into dancing since 1978, with an impressive record to buttress his long experience. He is a former 6-time U.S. American Smooth finalist, as well as a U.S. Rising Star International Standard finalist and a U.S. Rising Star American Smooth Champion. With at least 30 years of experience, Messenger is a winner of over 20 U.S. Pro/Am titles. He is also among the organizers of one of the biggest events in the country: The Wisconsin State Dance Sport Championships.

Mariusz Olszewski is a true patron of the performing arts. Since his childhood days, he has been passionate about dancing. In 1996, he decided to move from his home country Poland to pursue a career in the U.S. by joining JAZZDANCE, a modern jazz dance troupe. Since his immigration to the States, he has performed at the most prestigious stages like the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, the Kennedy Center in D.C., and The Joyce Theater in New York. He has also put his considerable skill to use by choreographing for many ballroom dance couples who have won several prestigious events.

We believe that with the proper teaching techniques and the willingness to learn, anyone can dance.
